Article 1. Application of General Conditions of sale
The present general conditions of sale are applied to all orders of tickets on the web site of the SE des grottes d’Arcy www.grottes-arcy.net via the "Book Online" interface. The SE reserves the right to adapt or modify them at any time. In this case, the general conditions of sale in force on the day of the order and posted on the site are applied.
Article 2. Contractual Relations
2.1. Pursuant to Article L 121-21-8 12 of the Consumer Code, the services offered by the SE as a leisure service to be provided on a specific date and schedule, are not subject to the application of the right of retraction provided for in articles L 121-21 et seq. of the same Code, regarding online booking.
2.2. The offers of sale on the site governed by these conditions are normally valid as long as they remain on the site www.grottes-arcy.net until the allocated places are exhausted.
Article 3. Prices. Payment
3.1. The prices listed on the website and brochures of the SE are inclusive of all taxes, including VAT.
3.2. All payments must be made in euros by credit card authorized on the day of booking. Full and immediate payment is required for any order placed on the website. The SE is not responsible for any charges on credit card transactions caused by changes in the exchange rate or for other reasons.
3.3. The date of validation of the ticket order is the date of the order and its payment by credit card (law of 2000 March 13, on the electronic signature). The payment is made by clicking on the button "Validate" on the "Payment" page of the banking platform after filling in the bank details. The order is valid after acceptance of the payment by the bank.
3.4. Payment by credit card is made on secure banking servers of our partner, Caisse d'Épargne Aquitaine-Poitou-Charentes, via SP plus Pro expert which uses the SSL protocol. The credit card data travels encrypted which guarantees the confidentiality of exchanges. No banking information concerning the customer passes through the SE site and the interface "Book online". This justifies that it is requested again to the customer with each new transaction on our site.
Article 4. Validity of tickets booked on the Internet
4.1. Internet tickets orders dated and purchased via the website are only valid for the date and time chosen by the customer when ordering. The change of date or time is not possible once the order has been validated. After validation and payment the orders are not refundable.
4.2. Discounted tickets, children, students, etc., may be the subject of a proof check at the time of their issue. In the absence of documents that can justify this specific tariff, the SE is entitled to charge the difference with the adult fare ticket in force on the date of the visit.
4.3. The SE reserves the right to refuse to honor an order for tickets from a customer who has not fully paid a previous order or with a payment dispute in progress.
Article 5. Management of tickets’ orders
At the end of the transaction, once the payment has been accepted, the customer receives confirmation of his reservation by two emails:
- the first delivered by the Caisse d'Épargne Aquitaine-Poitou-Charentes, banking platform validating the payment,
- the second sent by the website www.grottes-arcy.net. On this last one appear:
- the number, date and time of the transaction,
- the details of the reservations made: type of visit, day and time, price and quantity.
Article 6. Security safeguards for personal data
In accordance with the European Union Regulation no 2016/679, the General Data Protection Regulation, GDPR, everyone has the right to access, rectify and oppose personal data concerning them. This right can be exercised by writing to the address Grottes d'Arcy, D606, 89270 Arcy-sur-Cure by indicating your last name, first name and address or by email to email@example.com.
Article 7. Complaints and online dispute resolution. Other provision
7.1. Online claims and dispute resolution
- For any complaint, the customer can make comments by using the dedicated contact form on the website www.grottes-arcy.net or by sending an email to the following address: firstname.lastname@example.org.
- In case of complaint that has not given rise to a satisfactory response within 45 days, the customer has the opportunity to contact the Ombudsman for Tourism and Travel, whose contact details and referral procedures can be obtained by consulting his website: www.mtv.travel.
- For the settlement of disputes relating to online transactions, the customer can go to the platform set up by the European Commission to www.ec.europa.eu/odr.
7.2 Other provision
In the absence of an amiable solution within 30 calendar days starting from the delivery to the recipient party of the request for conciliation, any dispute concerning the formation, validity, interpretation, performance or termination of the contract will be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent court.
