The site of the Arcy Caves is a private property open to the public: ERP status.
Please follow instructions that control and assure:
- the cleanliness of the site, waste management, use of garbage cans, use of toilets,
- accessibility and safety, speed limit, management of parking, instructions for walking along the Cure river, the opening and closing hours,
- and of the authorized visits to the Great Cave: the ONLY cave open to the public on the site.
The Great Cave is fragile due to the antiquity of its paintings and engravings. It is therefore imperative to respect the instructions given by the guide at the beginning of each visit. The number of visitors is limited to maintain the state of the Great Cave: regular measurement of CO2, condensation and atmospheric pressure.
If these instructions are not respected, the guide reserves the right to shorten the visit and/or not to show the adorned area of the Great Cave.
People who booked online and groups are invited to arrive 20 minutes before, to withdraw their tickets, otherwise management reserves the right to postpone their visit.
Given the length of the visit and the environment, infants must be dressed warmly and the stroller ride is recommended.
Domestic animals are prohibited in the Great Cave and throughout the site. Staff guides the visually impaired or blind.
Picnic areas are reserved primarily for visitors of the Great Cave.
